EDU6159   Practitioner Research Project   (30 credits)

Description

Learners on this module will pursue an independent research project into an area of contemporary educational practice or theory that particularly excites or engages them. There is a heavy emphasis placed on the relevance of the project: what they investigate should be of interest to them, and of potential value in their developing career. The project will also allow them to develop and deepen their research skills, so that the questioning approach they bring to this piece of work should also be extended to future areas of their pedagogical practice.
